The smartphone can access the internet, and iTunes is installed. Unfortunately, the iPhone is limited to AT&T's network, does not support 3G networks, and relies on slower 2G connections.
Online sales of this phone, which start at US$2,500, began earlier this month. The number of bids on the phone increased since there were 27 of them.
The iPhone was sold to "an person from the US," according to LCG Auction CEO Mark Montero. There were ten bidders bidding for the AT&T exclusive.

On the 2019 episode of "The Doctor & The Diva," Green sought to sell the phone for Rp75 million, or around $5,000. Yet, he did not let it out of his control.
In an auction organized by LCG last October, Green's iPhone, along with the other unopened first-generation iPhone, fetched a total of $592 million, exceeding the starting bid of $39,000.
The phone itself is acknowledged as having altered the routines of billions of people throughout the world, including how they speak to one another, make purchases, go about their daily business, snap pictures, and even how they get out of bed in the morning.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone 1, the company's most cutting-edge device at the time, during the 2007 Macworld convention.
According to CNN's reporting, he stated,
"We're going to make history together today."
According to Steve Jobs, the new smartphone would be a "revolutionary phone" that combined the functions of an iPod, a traditional phone, and a "communications device" connected to the Internet.
